The world famous Niagara Falls, who doesn’t know them? I was really looking forward to seeing them so we started our roadtrip along Ontario with a visit to these popular waterfalls. A memorable visit.
Both Canadian and American Falls are impressive, but the imposing Canadian Horseshoe Falls were really spectacular. It’s so special to see the broad Niagara River clattering down from a certain point with so much power. I never saw that much water falling down. In addition, the 53-meter-high Horseshoe Falls are enormously wide: 790 meters. A magnificent spectacle!
The American Falls were also looking beautiful viewed from the Canadian side. We decided to skip the tourist attractions during our visit and walked around on the Canadian side. Enough time to take lots of pictures and enjoy this wonderful natural phenomenon. Those who want more can explore the area on foot, on the water or from the sky. On both Canadian and American side there are plenty of fun attractions. We visited the falls in the morning, to avoid the biggest crowds. The weather was very changeable. Menacing clouds, heavy rain and even a few rays of sunshine surprised us occasionally, which resulted in lots of cool pictures.
In this photo blog I’ll show you the pretty Niagara Falls!
